Benidorm brings back its traditional summer cinema series by the sea. It kicks off this Friday, August 7th, on Mal Pas beach at 9:30 pm with a screening of 'Elio', the Pixar animated film about a boy obsessed with extraterrestrials who ends up mistaken for Earth's galactic ambassador. Admission is free until the venue reaches capacity.
A few weeks later, on Friday, August 21st, at the same time and place, 'CampeoneX' will be shown, a comedy directed by Javier Fesser in which a basketball team accidentally ends up competing in athletics under the guidance of an inexperienced coach.
Mal Pas beach is a short distance from the Old Town and the Mirador de Benidorm, so guests staying nearby can walk over to enjoy an evening of cinema by the sea without needing a car.
