Benidorm City Council has released the official programme for the Festes Majors Patronals, taking place this year from November 7 to 11. The presentation was held at the municipal assembly hall, with the participation of the festival organisers, the festival queens and institutional representatives. Regional director Angélica Such will deliver the opening speech that officially starts the celebrations, during the traditional flower offering.
One of the novelties this year is the new location for the mascletás fireworks displays, which move to the open area next to Parc de Foietes. The programme blends traditional and religious events, such as the Trobada de la Mare de Déu, the pilgrimage and processions, with musical and pyrotechnic shows for all audiences.
Guests staying at Apartamentos Playa Pequeña, next to Plaza de la Señoría and close to the Mirador de Benidorm, will have easy access to both the old town and the main venues hosting the festive events during these days.
