The Iberia Festival has finalised its lineup for September 26 in Benidorm. The addition of Orquesta Mondragón, led by Javier Gurruchaga, rounds off a programme mixing legendary Spanish music names with younger acts.
Gurruchaga's performance is part of his band's 50th anniversary tour, half a century marked by rock, blues, humour and a theatrical show promising circus-style surprises at the Julio Iglesias auditorium in Parque de l'Aigüera. They'll be joined by Mikel Erentxun performing Duncan Dhu classics, 091 presenting new material, La Frontera with their signature rock, and local band Ringo Rango.
Those staying at Apartamentos Playa Pequeña, on Plaza de la Señoría within Mirador de Benidorm, are a short walk from the Old Town, a good option for rounding off the festival day with a relaxed dinner before or after the concert.
