The Benidorm neighbourhood of l'Horta held its most important day of the Roser Festival with an afternoon full of tradition. A flower procession opened the events, followed by a speech given by Alba Contreras, who shared family memories tied to the neighbourhood and its chapel, described as a gathering place of faith and community.
The neighbourhood's festival commission president and Benidorm's mayor also spoke, highlighting the value of collective memory and the bonds built year after year through these celebrations. It was also announced that the Three Kings parade will arrive on January 5th at the les Coves station.
The day continued with traditional songs and the ball del peuet dance, performed by the festival queens and many local residents, followed by a shared meal with live music. Celebrations continue over the coming days with a solemn mass and the appointment of the 2027 organising commission, closing with a mass in memory of deceased residents. Guests staying near Mirador de Benidorm can experience these popular traditions that keep the city's authentic spirit alive.
